10 Things to do at Phoenix Airport During Layover:

Grab a bite to eat:

If you’re looking for a good meal, there are plenty of places to eat at the airport. You can find anything from fast food to sit-down restaurants. There are also many options for grabbing a quick snack or drink.

If you have Amex Platinum Card, you can access the Centurion lounge on Terminal 4, near gate B23. Food and drinks are free to Amex members with the Platinum card.

You can also use the Admiral Club at PHX, which is a shared lounge that anyone can access for a fee. A day pass costs $59 or you can purchase an annual membership for $550.

The Club at PHX has showers, so if you need to freshen up after a long flight you can take advantage of that.

Explore the terminals:

There are 7 terminals at PHX airport, and they are all connected. so you can easily walk from one to the other.

Each terminal has different shops and restaurants, so if you’re looking for something specific, be sure to check all of the terminals.

The terminals also have art displays and sculptures that you can enjoy.

PHX also has an Aquarium, which is located in Terminal 4 and is free to enter.

Take a walk:

If you need to stretch your legs, there are several walking paths around the airport.

The PHX Sky Train takes you from Terminal 4 to the Rental Car Center and East Economy Parking Lot. The ride is about 10 minutes and it’s a great way to see the airport.

If you want to get some fresh air, there are also outdoor areas near Terminal 3 that you can access.

Get some work done:

If you need to get some work done or take care of business, there are plenty of places to do that at the airport.

There are many charging stations and workstations located throughout the airport.

Some of the lounges also have business center amenities that you can use.

If you need to print something, there is a FedEx Office in Terminal 4 near gate B6.

Get a spa treatment: XpresSpa

There are 2 XpresSpa at Phoenix airport. One is located in Terminal 4 near gate B6 and the other is in Terminal 2 near gate D8.

You can get a massage, facial, manicure/pedicure, or other spa treatments.

Prices start at $30 for a 30-minute massage.

Visit Phoenix Airport Museum

On terminals 4 and 5, you will find an art museum featuring paintings, fabrics, storytelling, sculptures, and more from local artists.

Visit Desert Botanical Garden:

If you have a long layover and want to get out of the airport, the Desert Botanical Garden is a great option.

It’s about a 20-minute drive from the airport and it’s a great place to see cacti and other desert plants.

Admission is $24 for adults and $12 for children.

Go on Echo Canyon Trail:

If you’re looking for a place to hike, Echo Canyon Trail is a great option. It’s about a 30-minute drive from the airport.

The trail is 3 miles long and it has a moderate difficulty level.

There is no admission fee to hike the trail.

Visit Pueblo Grande Museum:

Pueblo Grande Museum is a great option if you want to learn about the history of the area.

It’s about a 20-minute drive from the airport and admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children.

Shopping near Phoenix Airport:

The closest mall is Chandler Fashion Center, which is about a 10-minute drive from the airport.
