If you’re traveling through Denver International Airport, you may be looking for a place to take a nap. With so many people passing through the airport each day, it can be hard to find a spot to rest. Luckily, the airport offers sleeping pods as an option for weary travelers. This guide will provide information on the different types of sleeping pods available at DIA, as well as tips on how to make the most of your time in one.

What is an airport sleep pod?

An airport sleep pod is a small, private space that can be used for napping or resting. Gosleep, one of the companies that provides sleep pods, describes them as “a cross between a first-class seat and a business-class hotel room.” The pods are outfitted with features like privacy curtains, noise-canceling headphones, reading lights, outlets, and Wi-Fi. They can be rented by the hour or by the day, and are located in airports around the world.

How much do Sleep Pods cost?

While Denver Airport doesn’t have sleeping pods, the cost of regular sleep pods in other airports such as New York’s JFK, Dubai, Schiphol, and Heathrow costs goes up to $120 for a 4-hour block. For example Gosleep, a Finnish company charges $48 for the first hour and $30 for each additional 30 mins in some airports.

Does Denver Airport have sleeping pods?

Unfortunately, Denver Airport has not installed any sleeping pods at this time. However, there are a few other options for those who need to take a nap before their flight.

Denver Airport doesn’t have any specific areas for napping or sleeping, so the best option is to book a hotel nearby. The Westin Hotel is connected to Jeppesen Terminal, but you will need to go through security again to get back into the airport for your flight. Some other hotels in the area offer free shuttle service.

You can also try to find a quiet spot in one of the airport’s public areas. The Great Hall has couches and chairs that can be used for resting, and there are plenty of benches throughout the concourses. Just be aware that these areas can get crowded, so it may be difficult to find a seat during busy times.

If you’re traveling with young children, there is a dedicated play area in Concourse B. This can be a good place to take a break while the kids burn off some energy.

Denver is not alone when it comes to the delay or lack of plans to install sleep pods. Other airports such as LAX, San Diego sleep pods, Tacoma, O’Hare, and several others are also waiting for opportunities to get passengers to get comfy naps.

What are the benefits of using an airport sleep pod?

There are a few benefits to using an airport sleep pod over other options like hotels or public areas.

• First, airport sleep pods are typically more affordable than booking a hotel room.
• They also offer more privacy and quiet than most public areas in an airport.

What are the drawbacks of using an airport sleep pod?

While airport sleep pods can be a convenient and comfortable option for travelers, there are a few drawbacks to consider.

• First, not all airports have sleeping pods available. As of this posting in late October 2022, Denver Airport hasn’t announced plans to install any.
• Second, even if your airport does have sleeping pods, they may be located in a secure area of the airport, which means you’ll have to go through security again when it’s time to catch your flight.
• Finally, while most airport sleep pods offer features like privacy curtains and noise-canceling headphones, they may not be completely soundproof. So, if you’re a light sleeper, this may not be the best option for you.

How much do airport sleep pods cost?

The cost of airport sleep pods varies depending on the airport and the company that operates them. For example, pods at London’s Heathrow Airport are only available during daylight hours. San Francisco International Airport charges $28 per hour or $168 per day for use of its nap rooms, which are similar to sleeping pods. At Dubai International Airport, travelers can book a stay in a private “cabin” for $25 per hour or $200 per day.

Does Denver Airport close at night?

The Denver Airport is open 24 hours, but it’s important to remember that airline check-in and baggage drop times depend on the flight schedule. You can find these hours by contacting your airline. If you’re currently in the public area of the terminal (landside), then you won’t be able to access the secure section of the terminal (airside) until morning.

It’s also important to note that security checkpoints and baggage claim areas may close overnight. So, if you’re arriving on a late-night flight, you may have to wait until morning to retrieve your bags.

Where can I sleep at Denver Airport?

There are a few different options for sleeping at Denver Airport. You can book a hotel room nearby, try to find a quiet spot in one of the airport’s public areas, or use an airport sleep pod.

If you’re traveling with young children, there is a play area in Concourse B that can be a good place to take a break.

There is only one airport located within Denver International Airport, The Westin Denver International Airport. The other hotels close to DIA are at least 4 miles from the airport and this explains the high $350+ rate per night at this hotel.

On Tripadvisor, approximately 1500 customers have given this hotel a high rating of 4.5/5 which represents excellent approval of 90%. No other hotel in the vicinity of the airport has such high ratings and as per the reviews of users who’ve booked rooms here, it is a credible challenger to pay-per-hour airport sleep cabins with prices that can add up to the same amount Westin DIA hotel charges per night.

Located just 250 m from Denver International Airport, this hotel offers a free 24-hour shuttle to and from the airport. The Westin Denver International Airport Hotel also features an on-site restaurant, bar, and fitness center.

The Westin Denver International Airport is a 519-room hotel and conference center that’s located near the Transit center. The Transit Center offers shuttle and public transit services, including the A Line commuter train, which goes to downtown Denver.

If you book this hotel, you can get their free shuttle pick-up from Jeppesen Terminal Level 5, island 3, outside doors 505-507 (east side) and 510-512 (west side).

If you prefer a hotel outside Denver Airport, your other option is the AmericInn and Suites which is located at about 8.2 miles from DIA and will take you about 14 minutes using their free shuttle that picks passengers from Jeppesen Terminal Level 5, island 3. Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center

The second-closest top-rated hotel close to DIA is the Gaylord Rockies Resort which is located at 4.3 miles from the Airport, as per Bookings.com estimation.

Set in Aurora, the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center boasts indoor and outdoor pools open year-round as well as a seasonal outdoor lazy river.

The Centurion Lounge is located past security in Concourse C, near Gate C46 on the mezzanine level. Accessible to all gates in Concourses A, B and C – passengers can use this lounge regardless of their gate assignment.

Delta Sky Club

• Access: Have Delta’s Elite Status or be a Delta Lounge member

Deltarequent Delta flyers can access the airline’s Sky Club lounges located in Concourses A and B. The Concourse A lounge is open from 5:00 AM until the last flight departs, while the Concourse B lounge is open from 4:45 AM to 7:30 PM.
