Denver Airport is a large airport with many terminals and 5 commercial lounges. It also has a USO lounge for active duty military.
If you’re looking for a place to relax before your flight, the airport has a variety of lounges available to passengers. Each lounge offers different amenities, so it’s important to do your research before choosing one.
What is an airport lounge?
Airport lounges are private, pay-to-enter spaces that offer travelers a place to relax, work or sleep before their flight. Lounges typically offer complimentary snacks and drinks, as well as Wi-Fi, TV and quiet areas.
Other common amenities include:
-Comfortable seating
-Complimentary newspapers and magazines
-Conference rooms
-Fax and photocopy machines
-Kids play areas
-Pilot rest areas
-Private bathrooms
-Showers
Airport lounges are typically located past security, so you’ll need a boarding pass to enter. Some airlines offer complimentary access to their lounges for first-class and business-class passengers, as well as passengers with certain elite status levels.
If you’re not flying first class or don’t have elite status, you can still access most airport lounges by buying a day pass or an annual membership. Annual memberships typically cost around $400, while day passes cost between $50 and $60.
Some credit cards, such as the American Express Platinum Card, offer complimentary lounge access as a benefit. If you have one of these cards, be sure to bring it with you to the airport so you can enjoy the perks of lounge membership.
