If you’re traveling through Philadelphia International Airport, you’ll want to check out the Minute Suites. These comfortable and convenient mini-suites can make your time in the airport much more pleasant. Here’s what you need to know about them.
Does Philadelphia Airport have sleep pods or Minute Suites?
Yes, Philadelphia Airport does have Minute Suites! There are four of them located in Terminal A/B Connector (Inside Security). Located at the link between Terminals A and B. There are a total of 13 sleep cabins installed by Minute Suites, a company that provides private, quiet space for travelers to relax and recharge.
Minute Suites started out in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in 2008, and has since expanded to Dallas/Fort Worth, Phoenix, and now Philadelphia.
Minute Suites also has private rooms for nursing mothers to breastfeed or pump milk on the secure-side walkway between Terminal A-East and B. The first 30 minutes in the Mothers’ Nursing Station is free of charge.
What are Minute Suites?
Minute Suites are small, private suites that you can rent by the hour (or day) for some peace and quiet. They’re perfect for taking a quick nap, getting some work done, or just relaxing in between flights.
Each suite comes with a comfortable chair, a desk, a TV, and an alarm clock. You can also order food and drinks from the Minute Suites staff.
Unfortunately, Philadelphia airport doesn’t have Gosleep or Napcabs. Gosleep is basically the same thing as Minute Suites, just with a different design and shape.

Are there air mattresses at PHIL AIrport?
I read on sleepingonairports.net site that when the rooms are entirely booked Minute Suites also rent out air mattresses for $40 and have no time limit. I couldn’t independently verify this from any other source so maybe you confirm at their front desk if this is the case. This air mattress option is a great one for those who don’t want to pay the expensive cost starting with $40+ per hour with a max of 8 hours.

Are there Sleeping Pods at PHIL Airport?
Yes, Minute Suites is the only operator of Sleeping Pods at PHIL Airport. As per this posting in early November 2022, there are no other pay-per-use operators at PHIL Airport such as GOSleep, Napcabs, Aerotel, YotelAir, or Sleep n Fly. The 13 Suites by Minute Suites are located at Terminal A/B Connector.
The cots provided by Minute Suites are comfortable, but they are not full-size beds. The good news is that the cots can be moved around so that you can make yourself comfortable. There are also pillows and blankets available.
Is Philadelphia Airport open 24 hours?
While the Philadelphia Airport is technically open 24-hours, some terminals may close overnight when Security checkpoints close. If you’re inside Security, you will be able to stay in the airport. If you leave Security, you will not be allowed to re-enter through Security until it opens again.
The following are the Security checkpoint hours for each terminal:
Terminal A-West – Checkpoint A-West is open from 4:45 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Terminal A-East – Checkpoint A-East is open from 4:15 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.
Terminal B/C – Checkpoint B is open from 4:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Checkpoint C is open from 4:45 a.m. – Until the last flight
Terminal E – Checkpoint E is open from 4:15 a.m. – 10:45 p.m.
Can I sleep at PHIL Airport overnight?
Yes. While PHIL Airport doesn’t have designated rest areas, it does offer 13 private suites through Minute Suites. If you want to get a good night’s sleep between flights without leaving the airport, Minute Suites offers 13 private suites that can be rented hourly or overnight inside the airport. The rates aren’t cheap, but when the suites are booked out, they do rent air mattresses for $40 with no time limit. PHIL Airport Marriott is another option where you can book and sleep in traditional hotel rooms without leaving the area of the airport.
Which other airports have Minute Suites?
Minute Suites has locations in the following airports:
-JFK: When we previously wrote about sleep at JFK, Gosleep was the only provider of pay-per-use sleep facilities but I am excited Minute Suites has expanded to JFK.

As you step off the plane in Las Vegas, the bright lights and buzzing energy of the city are almost palpable. Sin City awaits, and what could be a better way to start your visit than by getting a good airport sleep during a long layover or when your flight gets canceled?
Unfortunately, depending on your airline and gate location, finding a place to rest your head can be difficult. Here is an overview of the sleeping options available at Las Vegas McCarran Airport.
What is a sleeping pod?
A sleeping pod is a small, private space that you can rent by the hour or day. They are becoming increasingly popular in airports around the world as a way to get some rest between flights. In 2006, Napcabs pioneered the idea of airport sleeping pods and installed them in Frankfurt Airport.
Today, there are several companies that offer sleeping pods, including Minute Suites, Yotel, Recharge, Napcabs, and Sleepbox. You can find these pods in airports such as Dubai, London Heathrow, San Francisco, Miami, and Chicago O’Hare.
What do they look like?
Sleeping pods come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but they all have one thing in common: they are designed for travelers to get some rest. They typically have a comfortable bed, a desk or work space, a TV, and sometimes even a private bathroom. Gosleep, a brand designed by Finish company and currently installed in airports such as JFK is made to look like a cocoon with a reclining chair/bed. You can close the door for privacy and relax in your own personal space.
What are the amenities in sleeping pods?
Sleeping pods usually have a few key amenities that are designed to help you rest and relax. These can include:
-A comfortable bed: This is the most important amenity in a sleeping pod! After all, you’re trying to get some sleep here. Most pods have a twin-sized bed, but some have a full-sized bed.
-A desk or workspace: If you need to get some work done during your layover, many pods have a desk with an outlet so you can charge your laptop.
-A TV: Some pods have a TV so you can watch shows or movies while you rest.
-Private bathroom: A few of the higher-end pods even have a private bathroom so you can freshen up before your next flight.
Amenities at Las Vegas Airport:
A comfortable bed with a pillow and blanket
A TV with headphones
A privacy curtain
Air conditioning
A power outlet
A flight information display
A luggage storage area
A flight information display
A water bottle
An alarm clock
A wake-up call service
A luggage storage area
How much do they cost?
The cost of renting a sleeping pod varies depending on the company, airport, and length of time you want to rent it for. For example, at Dubai International Airport, Gosleep charges $32 for the first hour and $16 for each additional hour. Yotel’s rates start at $25 for the first hour and go up to $59 for 6-12 hours.
The cost of renting a sleeping pod at Las Vegas airport for one hour is $35, and each additional hour afterward costs $25. If you plan on using the pod for at least 8 hours as you would regularly do in a hotel, it will cost you $235 made up of the $35 for the first hour and $200(25*8).
This is significantly higher than the cost of renting airport hotels such as McCarran or Harry Reid International Airport Hotel which charges $170 per night and Springhill Suites – Las Vegas Airport which charges $150 per night.
Are the sleeping pods at Las Vegas Airport worth it compared to hotels?
If you want to sleep for more than 4 hours, I recommend booking any of the airport hotels as they charge a lumpsum amount – not per hour. If you want a short nap as you wait to board your flight, say a 2-hour nap, I recommend booking a sleeping pod.
Below are 3 more advantages that sleep pods have over hotels though;
Convenience: You don’t have to leave the airport and go through security again.
Privacy: You have your own space with a privacy curtain.
Time-saving: No check-in or check-out process.
If you want the best of both convenience and comfort, look for an airport hotel that has sleeping pods such as YotelAir at London Heathrow or San Francisco International Airport.
To sum it up, sleeping pods are a great option if you want a short nap or some privacy, but they are not as cost-effective as airport hotels if you need to sleep for more than a few hours.
Where are Sleep pods at Las Vegas Airport located:
There are 8 sleep pods at Las Vegas Airport and all are located at the end of the East and West terminals near the D Gates. The first 4 pods are at the East end of the terminal near the D Gates and the last 4 are at the West end of the terminal near the D Gates.
To get to East TErminal D Gates:
-Take the tram from Gate D1
-Get off at the last stop
-Walk to your right and you will see the entrance to the pods
To get to West Terminal D Gates:
-Take the tram from Gate D47
-Get off at the last stop
-Walk to your right and you will see the entrance to the pods
Each pod has a unique number, and you can find this number on the door of the pod. The numbers are as follows:
East Terminal:
-Pod 1: 1001
-Pod 2: 1002
-Pod 3: 1003
-Pod 4: 100
Does Las Vegas Airport have sleeping pods?
Yes, Las Vegas Airport has 8 sleeping pods located at the end of the East and West terminals near the D Gates. As of late October 2022, the pods are operational and can be booked right at the terminals. This airport joins others in the US with sleep pods such as JFK, Atlanta (minute suites), and DFW.
They are pretty expensive so I recommend only using them for short naps and not long sleep periods like you would in a hotel. This is because sleep pods charge hours and not per night.
Where else to Sleep or rest at this airport?
You can use the couches and armchairs in the main terminal as a place to sleep. There are also padded benches located throughout the airport. These areas can get crowded, however, so if you’re looking for some peace and quiet, this may not be the best option.
Terminal 1: Next to the Post Office on Floor 2 of Terminal 1 entrance, look for the corridor next to the entrance. It’s quiet and somewhat private if you won’t mind sleeping on the cold floors.
On Terminal 1 close to D Gates, and in the Children’s play area there are soft floor mats that are more comfortable to sleep on.
In the main lobby near the security checkpoint for Terminal 3, there are a few rows of chairs with no armrests that some people find more comfortable to sleep on.
Sleep at a hotel inside the airport – zero level fitness:
The fitness center on Level Zero of Terminal 1 has several day use rooms available for rent. The rooms are equipped with a TV, a day bed and an ensuite bathroom. You can also take advantage of the other facilities at the center, such as the showers, pool and Jacuzzi.
To book a room, you can either go to the fitness center desk or call +1 702 739 6440. The rates start at $35 for a 2-hour stay(min 2 hours) and charge $20/hr
McCarran International Airport Escape Pods
If you want a private working space, you can book an Escape Pod. These are located on Level 2 of Terminal 1 near the D Gates. The pods are soundproof, temperature-controlled and have a desk, a chair, and outlets.
Escape Pods can be booked for $25/hour or $75 for the day.

If you’re in Seattle or just having a layover at Seattle Airport, Seattle is one of those airports where you won’t miss a place to sleep if you want to take a nap. In this guide, I’ll explain in detail sleep options at the airport with details of the much-hyped sleep pods.
What is a sleep pod?
A sleep pod is a an enclosed space in which a person can take a nap. Studies revealed that the main reason why people don’t sleep at airports is that they feel unsafe and exposed. Enter: the sleep pod. These private, secure mini-rooms are becoming increasingly popular in airports around the world as a way for travelers to get some much-needed rest.
In 2006, Napcab was the first company to introduce sleep pods in airports. Today, there are several different companies that offer sleep pods, including Yotel, Metropolitan by COMO, Minute Suites, and Recharge Lounge.
In some US airports such as JFK, Gosleep – another European brand – has started to offer sleeping pods. These are not private rooms, but they are sound-proofed and come with a privacy curtain, so you can at least get some uninterrupted sleep.
What are some amenities you can expect in an airport sleep cabin?
Some of the amenities you can expect to find in an airport sleep pod include:
– A bed or reclining chair
– Wi-Fi
– Power outlets
– TV
– Noise-cancelling headphones
– Privacy curtain
– Wardrobe
– Safe
Some airport pods also offer other amenities such as food and drink delivery, showers, laundry service, and even massages.
How much does it cost to use an airport sleep pod?
The cost of using an airport sleep pod varies depending on the company and the airport, but it is usually around $25-40 for a 1-hour stay. The cost of the first hour is usually fixed and that increases by about $20 for each incremental 30-minutes.
When booking a sleep pod, expect to pay upwards of up to $120 for a 4-hour block which usually comes to or close to the same amount you pay for a hotel room.
Does Seattle Airport have sleep pods?
Despite being among the busiest airports here in the US, Seattle hasn’t installed sleep pods in its terminals and passengers have to rely on uncomfortable benches, expensive hotels or airport lounges that charge up to $59 for a pass. According to sleepingintheairports.net, Seattle Airport had a designated rest zone(at Gate B4) that offered plentiful seating and power outlets during the Pandemic period but it has since closed that rest zone.
Where can I sleep at Seattle Airport if I have a layover?
The majority of seats in the airport have armrests, but if you’re looking for a place to rest, there are some long and padded benches in concourses A, C and S as well as between gates B6 and B8. If you need a quiet setting, there is also a meditation room on the second floor with comfortable seating. Finally, next to gate B4, there is a rest zone which has plenty of comfortable chairs.
You can also opt for airport hotels that are connected to the airport. The two closest hotels to Seattle Airport are the Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center and the Cedarbrook Lodge. Both of these hotels offer free shuttles to and from the airport.
If you have a long layover and are looking for something to do, there are plenty of options at Seattle Airport.

If you have a layover at Salt Lake City Airport, sleep options at the airport are minimal and in this guide, and I have provided a detailed guide including the much-talked-about sleep pods at SLC Airport. SLC Airport is one of the busiest airports in the US, serving over 21 million passengers annually.
The airport is a major hub for Delta Air Lines and Southwest Airlines and is served by a number of other airlines as well. It has one terminal and two concourses (A & B). It is a relatively small airport and is easy to navigate.
What is a sleeping pod?
A sleeping pod is a private space that you can rent by the hour or day to sleep, work, or relax in. Pods are usually located in airports, hotels, or other public spaces.
They are designed to be comfortable and quiet, with many featuring amenities such as Wi-Fi, charging stations, reading lights, and privacy curtains.
In appearance, they look like cocoons or small rooms, and some even have beds.
Sleeping pods are becoming increasingly popular as a way to get some rest during long layovers or delays. They offer a respite from the hustle and bustle of the airport and can help you feel more refreshed for your onward journey.
Below is an image of Gosleep pods which are installed in airports such as JFK, Heathrow, Schiphol, Perth, and Dubai Airports. US Airports such as LAX, Denver sleep pods, Seattle, and CLE, among others don’t have these pods yet;
Gosleep, the company that has pioneered sleeping pod innovations in airports is actually European, not American. It is founded by Finnish entrepreneurs and Helsinki is their model airport.
Sleep pods can be rented by the hour or day. Prices vary depending on the location, time of day, and length of stay. They typically cost between $25 and $50 per hour, with discounts for longer stays. Companies such as Sleep n Fly in Dubai, Minute Suites in Atlanta and GoSleep in Heathrow charge rates such as $48 for the first hour and about $20 to $30 for each additional hour.
While there are no pay-per-use sleep cabins at Salt Lake City Airport, you can expect to pay upwards of $120 for a 4-hour block. This is close to the amount you’d pay to book a hotel within SLC airport or at airports close to to the SLC airport.
If you are on a budget, it makes sense to compare the cost of a sleeping pod with the price of a hotel room. If you are looking for the cheapest option, there are some things to consider such as the location of the airport, how long your layover is, and whether you will need transportation to and from the airport.
Does Salt Lake City have sleeping pods?
No. Unfortunately, Salt Lake City International Airport does not have any sleeping pods or pay-per-use sleep cabins. The only option for those looking for a place to sleep at the airport is to book a hotel room within the airport or at one of the nearby airports.
Another recommendation in place of sleep cabins at SLC airport is the Delta Sky Club lounge which doesn’t have sleep cabins per se but has comfortable couches and lounges you can rest in.
A recent reviewer said that security shuts down “early,” but you can still find access to the airside late at night in Terminal 1. From what people are saying, it seems like Concourse B in Terminal 1 is the best place to sleep if you’re looking for potential sleeping spots. If you want to be comfortable while spending the night in this airport, experts recommend bringing extra layers or a travel blanket, earplugs/noise-canceling headphones, and eyeshades.
Why Book a sleep pods over a hotel room – 5 reasons:
Convenience: If you have an early morning flight, it can be more convenient to stay at the airport overnight rather than travel to and from a hotel. This is especially true if the airport is located far from the city center.
Baggage: If you are traveling with baggage, it can be more convenient to stay at the airport and not have to worry about transporting your bags to and from a hotel.
Time: If you have a long layover, it may make more sense to stay at the airport rather than spend time traveling to and from a hotel.
Cost: Depending on the location, sleeping in an airport can be cheaper than booking a hotel room
Privacy: If you want more privacy than what a hotel room can offer, a sleeping pod may be a better option.

If you’re traveling through Denver International Airport, you may be looking for a place to take a nap. With so many people passing through the airport each day, it can be hard to find a spot to rest. Luckily, the airport offers sleeping pods as an option for weary travelers. This guide will provide information on the different types of sleeping pods available at DIA, as well as tips on how to make the most of your time in one.
What is an airport sleep pod?
An airport sleep pod is a small, private space that can be used for napping or resting. Gosleep, one of the companies that provides sleep pods, describes them as “a cross between a first-class seat and a business-class hotel room.” The pods are outfitted with features like privacy curtains, noise-canceling headphones, reading lights, outlets, and Wi-Fi. They can be rented by the hour or by the day, and are located in airports around the world.
Below is an image of a sleep pod designed by Gosleep, a Finnish company providing innovative rest capsules for those operating in public areas such as hospitals and airports.

As you can sleep on the snapshot below that I obtained from Gosleep’s website, Denver isn’t one of the airports they currently support;

How much do Sleep Pods cost?
While Denver Airport doesn’t have sleeping pods, the cost of regular sleep pods in other airports such as New York’s JFK, Dubai, Schiphol, and Heathrow costs goes up to $120 for a 4-hour block. For example Gosleep, a Finnish company charges $48 for the first hour and $30 for each additional 30 mins in some airports.
Does Denver Airport have sleeping pods?
Unfortunately, Denver Airport has not installed any sleeping pods at this time. However, there are a few other options for those who need to take a nap before their flight.
Denver Airport doesn’t have any specific areas for napping or sleeping, so the best option is to book a hotel nearby. The Westin Hotel is connected to Jeppesen Terminal, but you will need to go through security again to get back into the airport for your flight. Some other hotels in the area offer free shuttle service.
You can also try to find a quiet spot in one of the airport’s public areas. The Great Hall has couches and chairs that can be used for resting, and there are plenty of benches throughout the concourses. Just be aware that these areas can get crowded, so it may be difficult to find a seat during busy times.
If you’re traveling with young children, there is a dedicated play area in Concourse B. This can be a good place to take a break while the kids burn off some energy.
Denver is not alone when it comes to the delay or lack of plans to install sleep pods. Other airports such as LAX, San Diego sleep pods, Tacoma, O’Hare, and several others are also waiting for opportunities to get passengers to get comfy naps.
What are the benefits of using an airport sleep pod?
There are a few benefits to using an airport sleep pod over other options like hotels or public areas.
First, airport sleep pods are typically more affordable than booking a hotel room.
They also offer more privacy and quiet than most public areas in an airport.
Finally, many of the pods available at airports around the world come equipped with amenities like Wi-Fi, outlets, and noise-canceling headphones, which can make your travel experience more comfortable.
What are the drawbacks of using an airport sleep pod?
While airport sleep pods can be a convenient and comfortable option for travelers, there are a few drawbacks to consider.
First, not all airports have sleeping pods available. As of this posting in late October 2022, Denver Airport hasn’t announced plans to install any.
Second, even if your airport does have sleeping pods, they may be located in a secure area of the airport, which means you’ll have to go through security again when it’s time to catch your flight.
Finally, while most airport sleep pods offer features like privacy curtains and noise-canceling headphones, they may not be completely soundproof. So, if you’re a light sleeper, this may not be the best option for you.
How much do airport sleep pods cost?
The cost of airport sleep pods varies depending on the airport and the company that operates them. For example, pods at London’s Heathrow Airport are only available during daylight hours. San Francisco International Airport charges $28 per hour or $168 per day for use of its nap rooms, which are similar to sleeping pods. At Dubai International Airport, travelers can book a stay in a private “cabin” for $25 per hour or $200 per day.
Does Denver Airport close at night?
The Denver Airport is open 24 hours, but it’s important to remember that airline check-in and baggage drop times depend on the flight schedule. You can find these hours by contacting your airline. If you’re currently in the public area of the terminal (landside), then you won’t be able to access the secure section of the terminal (airside) until morning.
It’s also important to note that security checkpoints and baggage claim areas may close overnight. So, if you’re arriving on a late-night flight, you may have to wait until morning to retrieve your bags.
There are a few different options for sleeping at Denver Airport. You can book a hotel room nearby, try to find a quiet spot in one of the airport’s public areas, or use an airport sleep pod.
If you’re traveling with young children, there is a play area in Concourse B that can be a good place to take a break.

No. Unfortunately, there are no Minute Suites at DIA. A check on Minute Suites’ website revealed that DIA is not even on the planned list of airports that Minute Suites is looking to install their sleep cabins over the next few years. Only Atlanta Airport has the Minute Suites cabins.

Are you exhausted from traveling and need a place to catch some Z’s? LAX Airport has sleeping spots and there are talks of sleep pods being available that can help you recharge. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about the sleep pods, including how much they cost and how to reserve them.
What is a sleep pod?
A sleep pod, also called sleep cabins, sleep box or sleep booth, is a small, usually private space where a person can sleep or relax. They are becoming increasingly popular in public places like airports and train stations, as they provide a quiet and comfortable place to rest.
Sleep pods come in different shapes and sizes, but most have a reclining seat, bed or hammock, and some type of noise-canceling features. Some sleep pods even have massage and aromatherapy functions to help you relax.
Sleep pods became popular following research on the importance of short naps and companies such as Gosleep and RestWorks are leading the charge in providing these services.
Sleeping pod amenities:
Bed or reclining seat Privacy curtain or door
Reading light
Electrical outlet
Wi-Fi
Air conditioning and ventilation
How much do sleep pods cost?
Sleep pods usually have an hourly rate, with discounts for longer periods of time. For example, Gosleep charges $48 in the first hour and $30 for each additional 30 mins in some airports. You can expect to pay up to $120 for a 4-hour block.
Does LAX Airport have sleeping pods?
Unfortunately, LAX Airport does not currently have any sleep pods available. While some airports without rest or napping facilities have announced plans to install sleep cabins in the future, LAX hasn’t announced it. In addition, the airport doesn’t have dedicated sleeping or rest zones and none of the LAX lounges have resting lounges.
Where can I sleep at LAX Airport:
Your best place to sleep at LAX airport is at the benches which can be uncomfortable and you may get disturbed a lot. You can, however, opt to book hotels located within or just outside the airport for $100 to $200.
Hyatt Regency is the closest airport to LAX and it has a free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes from 5:00am to 1:00am. The rooms here are spacious and have all the amenities you need for a good night’s sleep, including a pillow-top mattress, down comforter, and blackout curtains. Rates start at $219 per night.
Hilton Los Angeles Airport is another option for an airport hotel. It’s located about 2 miles from LAX and has a free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes from 5:00am to 12:30am. The rooms here are also spacious and have all the amenities you need for a good night’s sleep, including a pillow-top mattress, down comforter, and blackout curtains. Rates start at $209 per night.
Courtyard Los Angeles LAX/Century Boulevard is located about 2.5 miles from LAX and has a free shuttle that runs every 30 minutes from 5:00am to 11:30pm.
The Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel is located less than a mile from LAX and has a free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes from 4:00am to 1:00 am. Check rates here
