Bobby Van’s Grill at JFK Terminal 8:

Bobby Van’s Grill is a great option for a quick bite or a sit-down meal. The menu offers burgers, sandwiches, salads, and entrees such as steak, chicken, and fish.

It is located in the main terminal 8 section and is open every day from 6 am to 9 pm.

My favorite dish in this restaurant is the steak and eggs served with home fries and toast which costs $29.

If your layover is less than an hour and this restaurant happens to be close to your boarding gate, grab a sandwich and eat it quickly. It can take less than 5 mins to get your food at this restaurant.

Dunkin’ Donuts:

Dunkin’ Donuts is another restaurant at Terminal 8 before Security on level 1 at the arrivals/baggage claims section.

They are open 24 hours.

I would recommend this restaurant if you are in a hurry and just want coffee and a light snack such as a bagel. You can also get breakfast here I have a rule when I am traveling that I only eat once I am inside the airport and awaiting to board the plane. Eating in restaurants before security and TSA screening can waste your time, especially if your flight has started boarding.

SoHo Bistro is located on Concourse C of Terminal 8 near Gate 43. The menu offers salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, and pasta.

They also have grilled sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads and can have a pint or a glass of wine with your food. Breakfast options include brioche French toast or eggs benedict. They also have TVs playing football at all times.

The restaurant is open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.

I would recommend this restaurant if you have time to sit down and enjoy a meal. The food is decent and reasonably priced. If you have a 2-hour+ layover, go for this restaurant.
